Silent city - Mdina

Mdina is definitely one of the most beautiful and popular places in Malta. We'd decided to visit this city with the school's trip and a profesional quide, who told us about the first capital of Malta. In the past, the City of Silence was bigger, today it is a tiny, fortified town. The city was founded by the Phoenicians in around the 8th century BC and it has an interesting, long history conected with Phoenicians, Saracens, Christians, Normans, the Romans, French and Englishman and others cultures.
